Central Lake, MI — Central Lake Public Schools is pleased to announce Ashley Cary's appointment as the new Lead Teacher for the Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP). Cary joins us with a wealth of experience and enthusiasm for early childhood education.
"I am excited and grateful to accept the position as Central Lake's new GSRP Lead Teacher," said Cary. "Having graduated from NMC this past May '24 with my Teacher Care and Curriculum Certification, and with three years of experience with AmeriCorps and Michigan Education Corps as a Reading Interventionist and Early Learning Coordinator, I am eager to bring my passion for education to Central Lake."
Cary looks forward to contributing to the Central Lake PreK program, marking a significant career change filled with anticipation. "I am excited for the classes to come, celebrating their growth, creating new experiences, and building relationships within the community and families," she added.
Known as a morning person who enjoys tranquility before the day begins, Cary finds relaxation in hiking, playing pickleball, and spending quality time with her family. "When I want to unwind further, I turn to baking, reading, and occasionally indulge in video gaming," she shared.
The Central Lake Public Schools community eagerly awaits Cary's undoubtedly positive impact on the GSRP program and looks forward to her contributions to fostering a nurturing and educational environment for our youngest learners.
