CLPS Welcomes Sara Tausch as New Student Success Coordinator & Special Education Supervisor
Central Lake, MI — Central Lake Public Schools is pleased to announce the appointment of Sara Tausch as the new Student Success Coordinator and Special Education Supervisor. Sara brings a wealth of experience and a strong commitment to student achievement, making her an excellent addition to the district’s leadership team.
Ms. Tausch holds a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership from Western Michigan University and a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Saginaw Valley State University. Her extensive certifications include Michigan Administrator, Elementary Education, and Early Childhood Special Education. Sara's professional background includes roles such as special education teacher, director of early childhood, and middle school behavior specialist, reflecting her dedication to fostering inclusive educational environments.
Sara Tausch expressed her enthusiasm about joining Central Lake Public Schools, expressing, "I am excited to join the Central Lake Public Schools family! My family and I are thrilled to start a new chapter in Northern Michigan." Outside of education, Sara enjoys traveling, hiking, and spending time by the water with her family, including her two puppies, Blanton Rapids and Pudge.
In her new role, Sara looks forward to collaborating closely with staff, students, and parents to cultivate a nurturing and supportive school environment where every student can thrive. Her passion for student success and her diverse professional background will undoubtedly contribute to the continued growth and excellence of Central Lake Public Schools.
